Our Horseshoe Lake Suite sits at the front of the hotel overlooking Main Street facing east. It has a queen and a double bed and is a good size. This room has a fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. Each room is separately heated and cooled. The private bath has a tub. Maximum capacity of Room 1 is 4 adults.

Room 2 is a nice sized room with a queen bed. There are two 'tub' chairs for relaxing. The room has a fridge, a microwave and a Keurig coffee maker. The room is at the street side of the hotel facing east and is a beautiful, bright room. Maximum capacity of this room is 2 adults.

Our Minden Lake Suite is our smallest room but very cozy. The room faces north. It has a double bed. There is a microwave, a Keurig coffee maker and a fridge in the room. The private bath has a full size tub and shower. Maximum capacity of this room is 2 adults.

Our Gull Lake Suite is our largest room and has been used by many brides. So you know there are only good dreams and best wishes inside.

The king sized Sterns and Foster bed is one of the most comfortable beds made. This room has a lovely bay window that looks north out onto the Gull River. There is a pleasant sitting area and a fireplace adds to the atmosphere. The room has a fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker.

Each room has independent heating and cooling.

The bathroom has a soaker tub and a large step-in shower built for two.

Daniel Buck built the hotel in 1860 (across the street) and ran it as "Bucks Hotel" until he was able to purchase the land we are on now and built the building here today. The Dominion Hotel opened in this location in 1865. Daniel Buck was very active in building the community having acted as Post Master, helped to finance the first school in the community and owned other business including a sawmill.

This is the "owner's suite". Traditionally in old hotels and inns the owner lived on-site. Theirs was a job without a punch clock. Owners were on call basically all the time and needed to be on premise to keep their finger on everything going on.

Today this is a place of refuge.This room is at the back of the hotel and has a peacefulness about it.

This is a large suite with a queen and a double bed. The bathroom is large with a full size tub and shower. There is a small kitchen area and the room has a microwave, a Keurig coffee maker and a fridge.
